Inner King Training Experience mini-course: Crowning Your Inner King
Lesson 7: Summing It All Up
We hope you'll use these tools on a daily basis. The best way to start is to make it easy on yourself. Try one or two of the tools. Don't try to do it perfectly.
Remember, at any time you can...
Take the power from your Shadows by feeling the energy of your criticizing/shaming voices, and asking, "If that energy wanted something good for me, what would it be wanting for me?" Then experience that, instead of the criticism.
Let go of a painful way of loving by feeling the sensation of your issue, and asking, "Who might I be trying to love by carrying this pain?" Allow yourself to really feel that love, as love, and notice the pain decrease or leave.
Use the power of death to live fully by asking yourself, "If I had a year to live (but still had the same responsibilities), what would I do now? What would be most important to me?"
Feel the power of your blessing lineage by feeling your place at the end of a long line of blessing fathers. Imagine the line of men, starting behind you and going back and back and back. Feel the positive things these fathers would want for you, in their deepest hearts. Let that blessing empower you.
"Clean up" your relationship with your higher power by getting honest about what you think your higher power or highest ideal would think about you when you are having your issue, whatever it is. If that voice is critical, identify who it really belongs to (Dad? Mom? Some other "survival figure"?), "take it down" from that high spot, and feel the blessing it was covering up.
Live your mission more fully by remembering your "being" mission. Ask yourself, "When I'm at my best, what are the people around me empowered to be like?" Relax, and change the world by focusing on being your authentic, best self. Notice how that "frees up" the people around you.
These tools are some of the key distinctions and ideas from the Inner KingTraining Experience. Of course, there is a lot more in the four-day training than we can include in this one mini-course, but you can see that there's a lot to this workshop.
Don't Just Get Educated—Get Initiated If you've ever been to an intense, initiatory workshop, we invite you now to remember how you felt after it was over. Remember how it felt to be different. Remember how automatically positive changes "just seemed to happen" afterwards.
Now imagine if you hadn't had that experience, but had just read a website about the key ideas of that workshop.
Here's the big question: How much more did you get from actually experiencingthe workshop, rather than just reading about it?
We're sure you'll agree, you got a lot more out of having the experience itself.
That's the difference between being educated and being initiated. You can read about something, and become educated. You can get a lot out of that, and it can make your life better.
But if you want to automatically think, feel and act in new, better ways, then you need to be initiated into a new way of being. You need to make the new ideas a part of you. Education alone is probably not enough.
We hope you'll get a lot out of the mini-course, and that you'll practice the ideas in it, and return to it many times.
But if you really want that "Kingly Way Of Being" to become an effortless part of who you are as a man, then you probably want to consider coming to the Inner King Training Experience.
At the Inner King Training Experience you'll get it all "in your body"—in your heart, your guts, and your balls—not just in your head.
